CHRIST LOVES YOU MINISTRIES

             WELCOME NEW CONVERTS

Today's Lesson:

SALVATION

Our scripture is found in LUKE'S GOSPEL:    LUKE 19:9-10 KJV

9.  "And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he is also a son of Abraham."

10.  "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."

What is SALVATION and what does it mean to you?

SALVATION simply means deliverance.  You have been delivered from all things which separated you from the enjoyment of God's highest blessings; and the now present enjoyment of those blessings.  It means deliverance from sin through entrance upon a new devine life.  It is a present experience that you achieved when you prayed the sinners prayer.

Did you know that SALVATION is reserved only for the righteous remnant of God's children?  We all want to belong to this fragment because there are a lot of inclusions just for us; and they encompass deliverance from sin itself as well as from multiple evils which are the outcome of sin.

Use as your battle cry PSALM 51:1 "Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness: according unto thy multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

All you are asking of the Lord is for His compassion as in  agreement with His delicate mercies, and in agreement with the vastness of His affectionate sympathies, to take away your violations.

Finally, SALVATION is received through faith in Christ Jesus, the incarnate Son of God.  SALVATION was brought by Jesus through His death on the Cross of Calvary.  His death represents deliverance from sin because He paid for your sin and mine, with His life as a ransome.  He paid with His sufferings, (read Isaiah chapter 53) ISAIAH 53:4-5 tells us:

4.  "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:  yet we did not esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5.  But he was wounded for OUR transgressions, He was bruised for OUR iniquities:  the chaistisement of OUR Peace was upon Him: and with HIS stripes WE are healed."

So new  converts and to all old saints of God I tell you that SALVATION IS VERY GOOD NEWS, AND IT IS FREE.  Freely He gave it, and freely we should receive it.  (HALLELUJAH)!

This ends our message lesson (1).  Please meditate on it, read your bibles and pray about the wonderful things He has done for us in this life.   And please revisit this site  for our next lesson from "THE WITNESS."  Please know that it is our fervent prayer that you will continue in your new found faith, In the matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
